Circuit Data Cable

It is possible for you do make yourself a data cable for the S25 and perhaps any other Siemens mobile with a Lumberg connector (C25, S25, A35, A36, C35, M35, S35, A40, C45, ME45, S45, SL42(i), SL45(i), SX45, A50 and M50). But I don’t recommend making it, unless you have some knowledge on electronics and soldering.

I’ve never tried to make any, so I can’t help you with any problems you may have!

Anyway, the easiest solution (and perhaps the cheapest) is still to buy a ready-made cable. So, not only you know that it works, but also there’s the warranty, in case something goes wrong.

If, even so, you want to give it a shot, you have here some schemes for pinouts and data cables I found on the Internet. You’ll also need a female 9-pin Sub-D plug, and a male Lumberg plug.

Here's another electronic schematic. This one has also the pin connections required for newer models equipped with the Slim Lumberg plug (from x55's to x75's).
